Procurement
As a public Entity, Oniipa Town Council procurement functions are governed by the Public Procurement Act, 2015 (Act 15 of 2015) and its Regulations as in acted by the Government of Namibia in April 2017. To ensure transparency in the application of this Law, the Accounting Officer has in terms of the provision of the law established three internal structure Committees with designated functions. The three committees and their functions are as follow:
1. Procurement Management Unity (PMU); which is responsible for conducting and management of procurement activities of Council.
2. Bid Evaluation Committee (BEC); that examines and evaluate bids.
3. Procurement Committee (PC); that oversees the procurement process conducted by Council.
